How does U-Pick work?

We ask that you bring your own containers and come prepared to pick in the fields. We recommend that you wear a hat, sunscreen and suitable footwear as the ground can be uneven and sometimes damp. If you do not have a suitable container, we can provide you with an ice-cream container that will hold about 1kg of fruit (the equivalent of 8 punnets, if you get them at your local greengrocer). You will be directed to one of the Berry blocks and shown how to best pick the fruit. If you have any questions about preserving fruit or recipes, we will be happy to help.

What to bring?

Suitable footwear, a hat and sunscreen are a good idea. And of course a container for your fruit.

What does U-Pick cost?

Raspberries, Blackberries and Boysenberries are all $10.00 per kilo.

Cherries are $8.00 per kilo and are normally available every day, however please phone (03) 9737 9534 before coming for a season update. This is due to the uncertain nature of the weather and to ensure optimum fruit maturity. There is also a $6.00 entry price per person (except children under 12 years of age) for Cherries only.
